Balaji Provision Store

Our place is Balaji Provision Store and we are at 456 in J. P. Nagar. It is a busy residential area so we see a lot of the same people every morning when they go for milk or bread. I have lived around here for a long time so I know who likes what. The shelves are always a bit crowded because I try to stock everything. If someone asks for something I don't have I usually try to get it for them by next week. It is just me and my wife running the place most of the time. Our kids help out on the weekends when they aren't studying. J. P. Nagar has changed a lot since we opened. There are more buildings now and more cars. Sometimes parking is a nightmare for people but they still find a way to stop in. We don't have any fancy displays or anything like that. It is just a regular store where you get what you need. I like talking to the customers about their day. Some people stay for ten minutes just to chat about the news or the weather. It makes the day go by faster. We stay open late because people always forget something for dinner. It is a tiring life but it is a good one. We are just a small part of the neighborhood here at 456.
