Balaji Ispat

We’ve been here at Narasimharaja Road on the 3rd Cross for quite a while now. It’s a busy spot, and most days you’ll find us just managing the inventory or helping folks who stop by the shop. Balaji Ispat is basically just us doing our job with the steel materials we keep in stock. It gets pretty dusty out here on the road, especially with all the traffic moving through the cross, but we’re used to it. We open up early and usually stay until the sun starts to go down. Sometimes the paperwork piles up on the small desk in the corner, but we try to keep things moving. It isn’t a fancy office or anything like that. Just a practical workspace where we handle the orders. Most people who come here know us by name because we’ve been at this same address for years. Dealing with iron and steel is heavy work, so our hands stay pretty rough. We don’t have any big corporate goals or anything, just trying to make a living and get the right pieces to whoever needs them. The 3rd Cross can get a bit narrow when the trucks come in to unload, so there is always a bit of shouting and directing traffic to make sure everything fits. It’s just how things go around here every day. We don't spend much time on the computer, mostly just talking to people and checking what's left in the back. It’s simple work, really. Usually, we just close up the shutters and head home.
