Balaji Cycle & Telcom

I’ve been running Balaji Cycle & Telcom here at Krishnarajpuram 4 for quite some time. It’s a small shop, maybe smaller than people expect when they first hear the name. We have cycles on one side and the telecom stuff on the other. It gets a bit cramped sometimes, especially when there are a few customers inside at once. Krishnarajpuram is a busy area and being at number 4 means we are right in the thick of things. I usually start my day by pulling out the display cycles to the front so people can see them from the street. It’s a lot of back and forth, but it’s my routine. The shop doesn't have air conditioning, so we keep the doors wide open to get a breeze. You hear the horns and the people talking outside all day long. Some days are slower than others, but there’s always something to fix or a phone to look at. I don’t use a computer for everything, I still like writing things down in my ledger. It feels more real that way. People around here know me by name, and I know most of theirs too. It’s just how it works in this part of town. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop around, just a reliable one where you can get your cycle aired up or talk about a phone plan. It’s a simple life here at Krishnarajpuram 4.
