If you’ve ever been to S P Road in Bangalore, you know it’s the place to go for anything electronic. Balaji Computers is right in the middle of that chaos, located at No.123/107 in the Sri Kb Complex. We are up on the 1st floor. The stairs are usually crowded with people carrying boxes of motherboards or rolls of wire. It’s loud, it’s dusty, and it’s always moving. Our shop isn't very large, but we pack a lot into it. We have shelves full of components and a workbench that’s always covered in tools. Most of our day is spent helping customers find specific parts or trying to fix a stubborn laptop. It’s a lot of face-to-face work. We don't have a fancy website or a sales team. People just know us because we’ve been in the complex for years. The air gets a bit stuffy inside, especially in the afternoons when the market is at its peak. We usually keep a bottle of water and some biscuits under the counter for when we can’t find time for a proper lunch. S P Road has a specific energy, and being part of it means you have to be ready for anything. We just keep our heads down and handle the computers as they come in.
