If you walk down Lakshmi Venkatesh Temple Street, you’ll find us at number 540. It’s a nice spot in Nanjappa, right where things feel like a proper neighborhood. Bakers Shoppee Pvt Ltd isn’t just some big factory; it’s where we spend most of our waking hours. We started this because we liked the idea of having a local place where people could get what they need without a fuss. The street gets quite busy during temple hours, so we see a lot of foot traffic. Inside, it smells like flour and sugar most of the time. We have a small team here. Some of the staff have been living in this area their whole lives. We don't have a corporate office with glass walls. Our office is just a corner with a computer and a lot of notebooks. Sometimes the oven acts up, or a delivery is late, but we manage. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in the world. We just want to make sure the stuff we put out is decent. Sometimes the kids from the nearby school pop in, and it gets a bit loud, but it keeps the place feeling alive. We keep the shelves stocked as best as we can. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting heavy bags and cleaning up at the end of the shift. We’re just regular people doing our jobs here in Nanjappa.
