Baisakhi Punjabi Restaurant

We are located inside the Holiday Village Resort at 9th Mile on Kanakapura Road. The area is called Vajarahalli, and it’s a bit outside the main hustle of Bangalore. Being at the resort gives us a bit more of a relaxed vibe than if we were right in the city center. We call the place Baisakhi Punjabi Restaurant. Most of our days are spent preparing North Indian dishes for people who come to the resort for a break. It’s a lot of chopping, stirring, and keeping an eye on the tandoor. The weekends are usually our busiest times because that’s when everyone wants to get out of the city and enjoy some space. Kanakapura Road has changed a lot lately with the metro coming up and more buildings appearing. We’ve stayed pretty much the same, though. The address is 560062. It’s nice to have some greenery around the resort, it makes the work feel a bit less stressful. We aren't a big corporate chain or anything, just a restaurant trying to serve decent food. Sometimes the staff stays late to get everything cleaned up for the next day. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just cook and hope people enjoy their meal while they’re on their holiday. If you're driving down Kanakapura Road, you'll find us at the 9th Mile. It’s a straightforward spot for a meal.
