Running a mobile shop in Kaval Byrasandra means you see just about every type of broken phone there is. We are located at 1899 and it's usually a pretty steady stream of people coming through the door. Most of the time it’s cracked screens or batteries that won't hold a charge anymore. We sit behind a glass counter most of the day, surrounded by tiny screwdrivers and tweezers. It’s finicky work, and our eyes get tired by the evening, but it’s what we do. The street outside is always noisy with traffic and people going about their business. Sometimes someone comes in with a phone that fell in water, and we tell them straight if it’s worth fixing or not. We don't like wasting anyone's time or money. The shop isn't large, so when three or four people are waiting, it feels quite packed. We keep a stock of tempered glass and basic cases, but the real work happens in the back where the repairs go down. It’s a local spot where people know they can get a quick answer. We’ve been here long enough that we recognize most of the faces walking past. We don't have any big signs or bright lights, just the work we do every day. Sometimes we stay late to finish a tricky motherboard job so the customer can have their phone back the next morning.
