Azra

Azra is located over on Coles Road in Frazer Town, specifically at number 35. This part of Bangalore is known for its food, and we are just one of the many spots where people come to eat. We’ve been here for a bit, and we’ve gotten to know the people who live in the surrounding streets pretty well. The restaurant isn't very large, so it can feel a bit cramped when the weekend crowd shows up. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that; we just rely on people walking by or hearing about us from their neighbors. The atmosphere is very casual, the kind of place where you can show up in your house clothes and nobody will mind. We focus on making sure the food is hot and served as quickly as we can manage. Sometimes we run out of certain items early if it’s a particularly busy day, but that’s just how it goes with fresh cooking. The staff is just a few of us who have worked together for a long time. We like the vibe of Frazer Town and we’re happy to be a part of it. It’s just a basic restaurant doing its best to keep the local community fed without making a big deal out of it.
