Ayda Persian Kitchen

Ayda Persian Kitchen is located on the first floor of No.1 Church Street in Bangalore. We are right near the Nasa Pub, which is a landmark most people in this area know. Church Street is always packed with people walking around, so we are glad to be a little bit above the ground level. It’s a Persian kitchen, and we try to keep the food as close to what we grew up with as possible. The restaurant isn't very large. We have a few tables and a kitchen that takes up a good chunk of the space. We don’t have any fancy mission statements or corporate goals. We just wanted to bring some Persian flavors to Bangalore. It is just one flight of stairs up to the first floor, but it’s a nice spot once you get there. The lighting is simple and the furniture is just what we could find that was sturdy. Sometimes it gets a bit warm in the kitchen, and you can smell the spices all the way out by the stairs. We do all the work ourselves, from taking orders to cleaning the tables. It’s a small, independent place. We don't have a huge menu because we prefer to do a few things well. If you’re hanging out on Church Street and want something different from the usual cafes, you can find us near the pub. We’re just a small team making food every day. We usually open up around noon and stay until the street gets quiet.
