Axis

Being in JP Nagar ITI Layout, we see a lot of the same people every week. The shop is called Axis, but we don't make a big deal about it. It’s just a place where we work. The layout itself is mostly residential, so things stay relatively calm compared to the main roads. We have a small desk and some shelves that are usually a bit disorganized, no matter how much we try to tidy them up. I think that is just the nature of this kind of work. The morning starts with a cup of coffee from the place around the corner. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at the computer screen. It isn’t glamorous, but it keeps us busy. Sometimes the neighbor's dog comes and sits by the door, which is a nice distraction. We don't have a big marketing budget or a sales team. We just rely on people knowing we are here and coming back when they need something. The floor needs a sweep pretty often because of the construction nearby. You get used to the sound of hammers and drills in the distance. We finish up around seven or so and head home. It’s a steady pace, nothing too fast, nothing too slow. Just a regular business in a regular part of town. It takes a while to get the keys in the lock sometimes, but we manage. We’ve been here for a bit now.
