We’ve been setting up shop here on Mosque Road for a good while now. Our place is at number 57 on Narayana Pillai Street, which is usually quite a lively spot to be. It’s not always easy running a hospitality business, especially with how the traffic gets around here in the afternoons. Sometimes we just sit outside for a minute to watch the bikes go by. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze inside, but we make it work. Most of the folks who work here live pretty close by, so we don't have to worry too much about long commutes. We started out just doing small things and eventually it turned into Avenues Hospitality Services. There wasn't some big plan or anything, it just kind of happened over time. We handle different kinds of requests and try to keep things moving as best as we can. Some days are busier than others, especially when there are local festivals happening nearby. You can hear the noise from the mosque and the street vendors all day. It’s just how things are in this part of town. We keep our paperwork organized at the desk, though it gets messy when we are in a rush. It’s not a fancy corporate office with glass walls, just a regular place where we get the job done. We like the neighborhood feel of Narayana Pillai Street. It feels like home to most of us after all these years.
