Atlanta Bread Bar & Cafe

Our cafe is inside the Pavilion Mall on MG Road in Bangalore. It’s a very central location, so there’s never a quiet moment. We started this bread bar because we wanted a place where people could get something different from the usual mall food. We do a lot of different breads and coffees. Being in a mall means we have to follow their rules and timing, which can be a bit of a headache sometimes. The space isn’t huge, but we’ve managed to fit in enough tables for people to sit and rest their feet after shopping. I work here along with a small team of young people. We don't have those polished corporate uniforms; we just wear our own clothes and try to be friendly. The light in the mall is quite bright, so we tried to make our corner feel a little more relaxed. We get a lot of office workers coming in during their lunch breaks. They usually just want something quick and a good cup of coffee. We don't spend any money on big advertisements. We just hope that if someone likes their sandwich, they’ll tell their friends. It’s a practical little spot in a very busy part of the city. We aren't trying to change the world or anything, just serving some food and keeping the place running as best as we can.
