We are located at number 60/1 on Shraddhananda Bhavan Road in the Basavanagudi area. It’s a busy part of Bangalore, especially around Vv Puram. I’ve lived in this neighborhood my whole life, so opening a restaurant here felt like the right thing to do. The building is a bit older, and the street is usually packed with bikes and people walking to the nearby markets. We don't have any air conditioning, just some ceiling fans to keep the air moving. It can get a bit warm in the afternoons, but that’s just how it is here. Most of our regulars are people who work in the small offices around the corner or students from the nearby colleges. We don't have a fancy menu with hundreds of items. We just stick to what we know how to make well. The kitchen is small, so we have to be organized. I usually sit at the billing desk and talk to the customers. We don't do any social media or stuff like that. Word of mouth is how most people find out about us. It’s a very simple, old-fashioned way of doing business. The chairs are wooden and the walls have a few old pictures on them. We just try to keep the food consistent and the prices fair for everyone. It’s a honest local eating house and nothing more than that.
