At Home Hospitality Services

At Home Hospitality Services is based right over at Btm 2nd Stage, near Majura Gate. If you know the area, you know how hectic the traffic can get around 287/1. We’ve been running things from here for a while and the building has become like a second home to most of the staff. It isn't a fancy corporate office or anything like that. It is just a place where we manage the daily chores and make sure the bookings are in order. Every morning starts with a lot of phone calls and checking on the laundry. Hospitality is mostly just making sure people have what they need when they need it, which sounds easier than it actually is. We spend a lot of time coordinating with the cleaning crews and making sure the supplies are stocked up. Sometimes the water heater acts up or a light bulb flickers out and we have to drop everything to go fix it ourselves. Majura Gate is a good spot for us because it’s central, even if the noise from the street never really stops. We have a small kitchen area where we usually sit and have tea while we figure out the schedule for the next week. It’s a lot of manual work and staying on your feet, but that is just the nature of the business. We don't have many slow days, which is probably for the best. We just keep moving and trying to stay ahead of the mess.
