We’re located in BTM Layout 2nd Stage, specifically on the 1st Main and 1st Cross. It’s a bit of a maze back here because of how the roads are numbered, tucked away off the 7th Cross Road. Our office is at number 64. It’s a ground-floor spot which makes it easier for people to drop off packages or for us to move things in and out. The room is filled with shelves and boxes of all sizes. We have a couple of old wooden desks where we do the booking and keep the ledgers. The phone rings pretty often with people asking where their stuff is or when it will arrive. BTM is a crowded place so there’s always people walking past the door and the sound of scooters. We don’t have any air conditioning, just a couple of wall fans that do their best during the summer months. It’s an honest kind of place. We keep track of everything manually for the most part because it’s what we’re used to. Sometimes the internet acts up and we just have to wait it out. There’s a small shop across the street where we get our daily snacks. It’s not a high-tech operation, just a few of us making sure things get from one point to another without getting lost in the shuffle. We usually stay open until the last parcel is accounted for in the evening.
