Astra Management

Astra Management is located at number 575, right on the 9th Cross in Yeswanthpur. We are basically operating out of Jessy Das’s place. It is a bit different than a standard corporate office setup, but it works for what we need to do. Yeswanthpur is always buzzing with activity, especially with the big station so close by. You get used to the sounds of the city after you’ve been here long enough. We are not a big corporation with hundreds of different employees. It is just a small team here. We mostly sit around the main table and talk through the things we need to get done. It feels more like a home than a workplace, which is probably because it actually is one. We do not even have a big sign on the gate, so you really have to look for the house number 575. Sometimes the neighbors’ kids are playing right outside, or there is a delivery bike blocking the narrow lane. That is just how life goes in this part of Bangalore. We started Astra Management with just a few ideas and a couple of old laptops. We haven’t felt the need to move to some fancy office park. This spot on 9th Cross is more than enough for us. We drink a lot of tea and try to keep things organized. It gets a bit messy when we have a lot of paperwork, but we manage. No ties here.
