Astadik Overseas

Our place is over in Ashok Nagar, specifically at 1376/1 in Banashankari 1st Stage. It’s a bit of a residential-feeling area but there are plenty of small businesses like Astadik Overseas tucked away here and there. The building is pretty standard for this part of town. We spend a lot of our time dealing with boxes and packing tape. Since we handle overseas stuff, there’s always something being weighed or labeled. The office itself is nothing special, just some desks, a couple of computers that sometimes run slow, and a lot of notebooks where we jot down reminders. We have a lot of conversations about shipping schedules and customs stuff, which can get a bit tiring, but it's the work. The neighbors are mostly quiet, though you get the usual sounds of the street during the day. Sometimes we have to stay late because of the time differences with people in other countries. We usually just order some food and keep going. There’s a small balcony where we go to take a break and watch the traffic go by for a few minutes. It’s not a high-pressure corporate environment, just a place where we work hard and try not to lose track of the paperwork. It’s simple, honest work and we’ve been doing it at this address for a while now. No frills.
