Askco International

Askco International is based out of a building in S.G. Narayana Layout, specifically on the 1st Cross near the Lal Bagh Road junction in Bangalore. Being so close to Lal Bagh means we get to see a lot of the city's greenery, though the traffic at the cross can be quite a mess during peak hours. Our office is number 11, and it’s a pretty straightforward setup. We don't have any of those modern open-plan designs you see in tech parks. It’s just rooms with desks where we handle our international business dealings. Most days involve a lot of emails and checking logistics. We’ve got a small team here, and everyone pretty much knows what they have to do without someone looking over their shoulder constantly. The building is a bit older, which gives it some character, I suppose. There’s a lot of paper moving around and the sound of keyboards clicking all day long. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there; we just want to make sure the shipments and orders we manage actually get where they need to go. If you walk into the office, you’ll see some maps on the wall and a few filing cabinets that have seen better days. It’s a practical environment for people who just want to work. The neighborhood has some decent places for a quick snack, which is where you’ll find us around four in the afternoon most weekdays while we take a breather.
