Asif Enterprises

You can find Asif Enterprises over on Nagawara Bombay Garage Road, at number 59. We’ve been working out of this spot for a long time. It’s a general trading business, so we handle a bit of everything depending on what’s in demand. The front of the building is painted a faded blue, and we usually have a few items displayed out on the sidewalk to show what we have. Inside, it’s a bit cramped because we try to fit as much stock as possible. We’ve got everything from hardware tools to some household goods. It’s a bit of a maze in the back storage area. I usually work the counter while my nephew helps with the deliveries. We aren't a big corporation, just a local shop trying to provide what the neighborhood needs. Some days are slow and we just sit and watch the traffic go by on Bombay Garage Road. Other days, everyone seems to come in at once. We don't have a computerized system, so everything is written down in a big ledger book. Sometimes I misplace my glasses and it takes a minute to read the prices for people. We try to keep things fair and simple. If something is broken, we fix it or replace it without making a big deal out of it. It’s just a normal way to run a business in a place like this.
