Asiaadata is based out of HSR Layout Gadital 484. It sounds like a big tech name, but we are a pretty small operation. Most of the time it’s just three or four of us hunched over screens. The office is basically one big room with some partitions we put up ourselves. We handle a lot of data entry and processing work. It’s repetitive, but someone has to do it. The Gadital area is busy, so lunch options are great, which is probably the best part of working here. We don’t have a marketing team or anyone to write fancy things about us. We just take the files people send us and make sure they are correct. Sometimes we stay late when a big project comes in. We don't have those fancy bean bags or gaming rooms like the big startups nearby. We have plastic chairs and a water cooler that leaks a little bit. It’s a practical setup. We’ve had the same landlord for years and he’s a nice guy. If you come by, you’ll see wires everywhere because we keep adding more computers. We don't really care about the decor as long as the electricity stays on. It’s a quiet place mostly, except for the clicking of keyboards and the sound of the traffic outside. We’ve been at this address for a while and don't plan on moving soon. It’s just how we earn our living, one row of data at a time, every single day.
