Asia Upholstery Works

Asia Upholstery Works is located over in Kempapura Nadaprabhu. We are near the HAF Farm Post, not too far from the Sobha Apartments. It’s an area that has changed a lot with all the new buildings going up, but our shop stays pretty much the same. We spend our days surrounded by foam, fabric, and old furniture frames. There is usually a lot of thread and scrap material on the floor. It is a very manual kind of job. We are often seen stretching cloth over sofas or fixing the springs in an old chair. It’s a bit of a dusty environment because of the materials we use. We don’t have a fancy website or a marketing team. Most people just find us because they live nearby or saw our sign while driving past the farm post. The workspace is a bit cramped when we have several big pieces of furniture in at once. We work mostly by hand, so there is a lot of cutting and stapling going on throughout the day. Sometimes it gets a bit hot in the shop during the summer months. We are just local workers who know how to fix up a seat. It isn't glamorous work, but it is what we do. If you head towards the Sobha Apartments, you’ll find us easily enough in that general area.
