Ashwini Stores

We run Ashwini Stores over on Banswadi Road in Ambethan. It’s your typical local shop where we try to keep a bit of everything on the shelves. From household items to small snacks, the inventory is always changing based on what people around here are asking for. The store isn't very big, so we have to use every inch of space, often stacking boxes high up near the ceiling. We spend our mornings checking what needs to be restocked and sweeping the front entrance. Banswadi Road can get pretty dusty with all the traffic passing by, so cleaning is a never-ending task. We’ve been here long enough that we know most of our customers by their first names. It’s a simple life, opening up the shop early and staying until the evening rush is over. We don't use any high-tech systems, just a basic till and our own memory. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded inside when a few neighbors stop by to chat at the same time. We don't have a big corporate backer or anything; it’s just us managing the place day by day. The shelves might be a little uneven, and the lighting is just okay, but it works for what we need. It’s a community spot where people can grab what they forgot to buy elsewhere. We like being part of the Ambethan neighborhood and seeing the familiar faces every day. It's not a complicated business, just a local store for local needs.
