We are based at Door No 30/182 in the Sonnappa Layout, which is in the Hennur Bunde area of Kalyan Nagar in Bangalore. It’s a bit of a quiet residential pocket, which is nice because it keeps the noise down while we work. Asapp Media is just a group of people who enjoy the media world. Our office is a simple place with a few rows of desks and a small area for meetings that usually just involves pulling up some extra chairs. We don't have any of those fancy coffee machines or bean bags you see in modern startups. We just have a kettle and some biscuits in the cupboard. The work involves a lot of coordination and talking to different people throughout the day. We spend a lot of time on our computers, but we try to take breaks and talk to each other so we don’t go crazy. The neighborhood is nice for a walk if we need to clear our heads. We’ve been here for a while and the locals know us as the quiet media folks down the street. We don’t make a big deal about our achievements or anything like that. We just show up, do the work that’s expected of us, and try to keep things running smoothly. It’s a steady life in a nice part of Bangalore. We like the fact that it isn't too flashy because it allows us to focus on the tasks at hand without any distractions.
