Arun Lodge

Arun Lodge sits on BVK Iyengar Road, right in a part of the city that never seems to sleep. The address is a bit of a mouthful with G N Towers and Manav Mandir Society mentioned, but we are easy to find near the Raj Hotel. Our day consists of checking people in and out of their rooms. We have a lot of travelers who are just looking for a place to put their bags and sleep for a night. The lobby usually has someone waiting with a suitcase. We spend a lot of time on the stairs or in the hallways, checking on the rooms and making sure the linens are fresh. It is an old-school kind of lodge, so don't expect anything too modern or fancy. We have the usual city noise coming in from the street, but that is just part of staying in this area. Our staff is usually around the front desk to handle keys and take down names in the ledger. It’s a basic service we provide, giving people a roof over their heads while they are in town for business or visiting family. We don't have a big fancy restaurant or a gym, just rooms and a place to rest. The routine is the same every day, watching people come and go from all over. It’s a busy life on a busy road, and we just keep the doors open.
