Operating out of Shop No. 447/6 in the Mosque Building is something we have done for a long time. Being in Peenya Industrial Area means it’s always loud and there’s always a truck blocking the road. Our spot on Mosque Road is right near the PF Office, so people use that as a landmark when they get lost looking for us. We deal with steel all day, so it’s dirty work and our clothes usually show it by noon. The first stage of Peenya is a maze if you aren’t used to it. We have some heavy machinery and it takes a lot of effort to keep everything organized in the space we have. It’s not a shiny showroom. It’s a workshop where we actually get our hands into the metal. Most of the staff has been here for years, so we all know how the machines sound when they are working right. We don't spend much time on the computer unless we have to check an order. Usually, we are out on the floor. It’s a practical place for practical people. If the weather is hot, the building gets like an oven, but we just keep moving. We see a lot of regular faces from the other factories around here. Everyone knows everyone in this part of the industrial estate. We just focus on getting the orders ready on time.
