Our place is in the Mungekar Industrial Estate, Gala No 13 to be exact. It’s in the Hrbr Lyt area. Being in an industrial estate means it is always noisy. There are trucks moving in the lanes and the sound of machinery from the other units nearby. Our gala is number 13, and it is a solid space with high ceilings. We have our computer setups arranged along the walls. The floor is concrete and has some stains from years of use. It’s a bit dusty because of all the activity in the estate, so we have to wipe the screens every morning. We get a lot of people coming in from the other businesses around here. The lighting isn't the best, but we have some desk lamps for the detailed work. There is a heavy metal shutter at the front that we roll up every morning. It makes a loud clattering sound that everyone in the estate recognizes. We don't have fancy decorations. Just some shelves with manuals and spare cables. It is a hardworking environment. We take our tea from the stall at the end of the lane. Sometimes we sit outside on the steps when the weather is nice. It is a very basic setup, but it serves us well for what we do every day. We handle whatever walk-ins come our way with their broken hardware. The estate life is busy and we just keep our heads down. We've got a small fan for each desk to keep us cool. It is not fancy but we get the job done.
