Aol Online is over in J.H.B.C.S Layout, Bangalore. We are on the 1st Floor of number 290, right on 9th Cross. It’s a decent neighborhood, not too far from the main roads but quiet enough that we can actually get things done. The office is a bit of a mix-and-match of furniture we’ve picked up over the years. We have a few rooms filled with computers and the constant hum of cooling fans. Our work is all online, as the name suggests. We don't have a big fancy entrance. You just come up the stairs and we are there. It’s a small team of us, and we’ve been working together for quite a while. We know who likes their tea with sugar and who doesn't. Sometimes the 9th Cross gets blocked by a truck or something, and we just watch from the window. It’s a very ordinary life here. We don't do big meetings or have motivational posters on the walls. We just know what we need to do and we get on with it. Sometimes the internet is slow, and we all just sit around and chat until it’s back up. We don't have any corporate polish. It’s just an honest office where people work hard. We like the layout because it feels like a community. There are shops nearby where we get our snacks. It’s a practical place to be based in Bangalore 78.
