We are Anz Shared Services, working through the Bangalore Software Services setup at No.894 in HMT Layout. Our office is on the first floor of the building on 16th Cross in the 5th Block of Vidhyaranyapura. It is a bit further out from the city center, which means it is a little quieter than places like MG Road. We like the HMT Layout area because it feels a bit more open. The office space is quite functional. We have rows of desks and a small break area where we keep the microwave and the kettle. Most of our day is spent handling shared service tasks and keeping track of different accounts. It is steady work and we have a good group of people here. We are not a massive corporation with thousands of people in this specific building; it is a more manageable size. The first-floor location is handy because we don't have to wait for the lift. We usually see the same delivery people and neighbors every day. It is a very regular, honest kind of workplace. We don't have any flashy slogans or bright lights. We just focus on getting the spreadsheets and the data sorted before it is time to head home. The commute can be long for some of us, but the peacefulness of Vidhyaranyapura makes it worth it when we finally get here.
