Ansari Transport

We are located out at 1 Kadugondanahalli, right on the Outer Ring Road near the Shampur Railway Gate. If you know that crossing, you know you spend a lot of time waiting for trains to pass by. Our office is in Laggere, specifically at the 4th Cross in Suggappa Layout. It’s a bit of a dusty place because of all the trucks and the constant road work happening nearby. We have a lot of space for vehicles to pull in and out, which is the main thing we need for this kind of work. Inside the office, it’s mostly just logbooks, some old clipboards, and a very loud landline phone that never seems to stop ringing. We deal with moving things from one place to another, so there’s always a lot of shouting back and forth about routes and timing. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, so we keep a big jug of water in the corner for everyone. We aren't the type to wear suits or sit in air conditioning; we’re usually out there talking to drivers or checking the loads myself. The railway gate is a bit of a pain for our schedule, but it’s a good landmark for people trying to find the office. We’ve been operating out of this layout for a while now and have seen the road change a lot. It’s a tough business with long hours, but we’ve got a good rhythm going. We just make sure the trucks keep moving.
