I work out of my place in Deauville Apartments, which is right on Church Street. If you’ve ever walked down this street, you know how busy it gets, especially on the weekends. My apartment is 3-F. It’s a bit of a contrast once you step inside because the street noise kind of fades away. I’ve lived and worked in Bangalore for quite a while now. It’s a convenient spot because everything I need is basically within walking distance. Most days I’m just here at my computer or on the phone. I don't have a big corporate office with a receptionist or anything like that. It’s just a home office setup where I handle my day-to-day tasks. Church Street has changed so much since I first moved here, with all the new shops and the paving, but this building stays pretty much the same. I prefer working this way because it’s flexible. I can start my day whenever I need to and stay late if a project is dragging on. Sometimes I take a walk down the street just to clear my head when I’ve been staring at the screen for too long. It’s a very urban way to live, but I’ve grown to like the energy of it. I don't really do much marketing. People usually find me through mutual friends or by word of mouth. It feels more personal that way, just doing good work from my own space. I don't have any staff, so when you call, you just talk to me directly.
