Anjala Exports

Anjala Exports is located in Ramamurthy Nagar, specifically in the Garodia Nagar area. It’s a residential neighborhood that’s slowly turning more commercial, so there are always new buildings going up around us. Our office and warehouse space is tucked away, so it’s not immediately obvious when you’re driving by. We handle a lot of different types of exports, mostly smaller goods that don’t require massive shipping containers right away. The rooms are filled with the scent of plastic and new fabric most days. We spend a lot of time on the phone with customs and logistics people, which can be pretty frustrating when things don’t go as planned. It’s a lot of sitting and waiting followed by a huge rush of activity when a deadline comes up. We have a small kitchen in the back where we make tea for anyone who stops by. It’s nothing special, just a kettle and some biscuits. Most of the staff have been here for years, so we all know each other’s habits and how we like to work. We don't have fancy titles or corporate meetings. We just gather around the main table, figure out what needs to be shipped by the evening, and get to it. It’s a bit cramped when we have a lot of stock, but we manage to make it work. It's just how we do things here.
