About Andaman Sea Foods – Industrial Plant & Machines in Bengaluru
Our setup is mostly handled through our post box, number 4210, but we spend most of our time out where the actual work happens. Being tied to the Andaman name means we’re always thinking about the water. It’s not your typical office job where you sit in a cubicle all day. We’re usually moving around, checking on stock or talking to the people who actually catch the stuff. It can be a bit of a scramble sometimes. One day everything is calm and the next we're running around trying to fix a cooling issue or get a shipment out before the weather turns. We keep our records simple. There's no big marketing team here, just a few of us who know the industry inside and out. We talk to our customers like they’re our neighbors, mostly because many of them are. There’s a lot of history in how we do things, passed down from people who worked these waters way before us. We don't really see the point in all those modern management buzzwords. We just focus on the seafood and making sure it gets where it’s supposed to go without any trouble. It’s a lot of early mornings and late nights, but when you see the crates loaded up and ready to go, it feels like a good day’s work. We just keep things moving and don't worry about the rest of it.
