Anand Sarovar Restaurant

We are located at No.1/11 on the 4th Cross of KHB Main Road. It’s a corner of Kaval Byrasandra that usually stays pretty active throughout the day. I’ve been working here for quite some time now, and I’ve seen kids who used to come in with their parents grow up and start coming in on their own. That’s just how it is in a neighborhood like this. The restaurant isn't very large, but we manage to fit everyone in even when it’s raining outside and everyone wants to stay dry. We spend a lot of our time just cleaning up after the breakfast rush and getting things ready for the evening. Bangalore weather can be unpredictable, so some days we are packed and other days it’s just a few regulars reading the newspaper. Our staff is mostly local guys who live nearby. We don't really do anything special for marketing or things like that. Mostly, it’s just word of mouth from people living on the main road. The kitchen can get quite hot in the afternoons, but that’s just part of the job. We try to keep things quiet and steady. Sometimes the traffic on the main road makes it hard to hear, but we’ve gotten used to the noise over the years. It’s just a normal place where you can sit down for a bit. We don't have any big plans, just keeping the lights on and doing the work.
