Anand Computers is tucked away on Sadar Patrappa Road at number 91/8. If you’ve ever been down Patrappa Road, you know how packed it gets with shops selling all kinds of electronics and hardware. Our place is no different, really. It’s a small space, and we have boxes stacked up almost to the ceiling. It can be a bit of a squeeze when more than two people are inside at the same time. We spend the day helping people find specific cables or trying to fix a broken screen. The noise from the street is always there, a mix of carts and people looking for bargains. At 91/8, we don't have much room for a fancy display, so we just put the most common items on the front counter. It’s a bit dusty because of all the foot traffic on the road, but we try to keep the screens clean. We've seen a lot of different gadgets come and go over the years. People stop by for advice or just to see if we have a particular part in stock. It’s a very hands-on kind of place. We don't bother with fancy uniforms or anything corporate. Just regular clothes that don't mind a bit of grease or solder. We’ve been part of the Sadar market scene for a while and we like the energy of it, even when it’s totally chaotic on Saturday afternoons. We just stay open and keep fixing whatever people bring through the door.
