Working at Amyra Foods Products on Berlie Street is always interesting. Being in Langford Town, there’s a lot of movement around us all the time. Our place at number 14 isn't huge, but we make it work for everything we need to do. We spend a lot of time checking the ingredients and making sure the food products are packed up correctly. It’s a lot of standing around and moving boxes, to be honest. Some days are quieter than others, but usually, there’s someone coming in or out. The smells from the kitchen or the packing area stay in your clothes all day. We have a small team here, and everyone knows what their job is. It isn't perfect, and sometimes we run out of space when a big shipment comes in. We end up stacking things in corners where they probably shouldn't be. Shanthi Nagar is a good area, though it gets quite cramped during the afternoons. We don't have a big fancy sign or anything like that. People just know us by the name and the address. It’s just a regular food business. We try to keep things clean and follow the usual steps, but we aren't pretending to be some huge corporation. It’s just us, working through the orders and trying to get home on time. Some days are long, and the tea breaks are the best part of the afternoon.
