Amul Ice

Amul Ice is located right on F 173, 100 Feet Road, over in the Gopala Gowda Extension area. If you know the neighborhood, you know this road gets quite a bit of traffic throughout the day. We have been here for a good bit of time now, just serving whoever walks in or needs a batch of ice for a party. It’s a straightforward setup. We have the big chest freezers lined up against the wall and a desk where we handle the cash and receipts. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded when the delivery bikes are parked outside, but we manage. The lights in the shop are a bit bright, but it helps us see what we are doing when we’re counting stock late at night. Most people in Gopala Gowda Extension know us as the place to stop by when they’re heading home. We aren't doing anything revolutionary here. We just make sure the temperature stays low and the stock stays full. It can get tiring standing on the tiled floor all day, but seeing the same faces every week makes it okay. We don't have a big corporate team; it's just a couple of us making sure things run. We keep the place open pretty late because that's when people usually want something cold. It's just a local business on a busy street, trying to keep things moving along for the folks nearby.
