Our place is at number 7 Hebbal, sitting quite close to the big flyover that everyone knows. If you live here, you definitely get used to the sound of the traffic moving back and forth all day. It’s a basic setup, really, meant for people who need a spot to sleep and eat while they work or study nearby. We have different rooms, some shared and some not, and we try to keep the common areas decent. The kitchen gets busy around breakfast time when everyone is rushing to get out. We don’t have fancy furniture or big decorations on the walls. It is just a house that we turned into a PG to help folks coming into the city. The flyover makes it easy to explain where we are to delivery drivers, even if the road gets a bit crowded during peak hours. We deal with the usual stuff like fixing leaky taps or making sure the internet is actually working for the students. It’s mostly quiet during the afternoons when the tenants are away at their jobs. We spend our time cleaning up or checking the supplies for the next meal. It’s just a normal house with a lot of different people living under one roof. We’ve been doing this for a while now and the routine stays pretty much the same. You just come in, have your space, and go about your business without any fuss or trouble at all.
