American On Line

We are located in one of those older houses in Indiranagar, specifically at House No 149 on 7th Cross. It’s a nice area with lots of trees, though it’s getting more crowded every year. At American On Line, we deal with a lot of digital stuff, mostly helping with online connections and technical support for people who need it. The office still feels like a home because, well, it was one. We kept the kitchen area for our lunch breaks. It’s a lot better than sitting in a cubicle in some massive tech park on the outskirts. We can walk out the door and find a decent place to eat in minutes. The stairs creak a bit and the wiring is a bit of a mess behind the server racks, but we make it work. Most of us have been here long enough to know which windows to leave open for a breeze and which ones to keep shut against the dust. It’s a small group of us working here. We don't really do the whole corporate culture thing. We just show up, do the technical work, and try to keep the servers running. Sometimes we stay late when there’s a big problem to solve, but usually, we head out before the traffic on 10th A Main gets too bad. It’s a straightforward job in a comfortable part of Bangalore. We keep things pretty low-key and just keep working.
