Amara Kalyana Mantapa

Our place is Amara Kalyana Mantapa. We are located at 152 10 on Banneraghatta Road, specifically in the Doreashni Palya area within Mariswamatt Layout. Most people in this part of Bangalore know us because we are right opposite the IIMB Gate. That’s the big management institute that everyone talks about. This hall has seen many weddings and family gatherings over the years. It is a big space but it’s quite simple in its design. We don’t have those crazy light shows or very modern designs that you see in the new parts of town. It’s a traditional mantapa for local families to use. The traffic on Banneraghatta Road is always heavy, so guests usually have to plan ahead to get here on time. We have a kitchen area in the back where the caterers set up their stoves. It’s always a bit chaotic during the wedding season, with flowers being delivered and people rushing around with decorations. We just provide the space and make sure the basic things like water and electricity are working for the guests. My family has been looking after this property for a while now. The pin code is 560076. It’s not a fancy five-star venue, just a practical hall for people in the neighborhood. We see a lot of happy faces and sometimes a lot of crying during the ceremonies. That's just how weddings go. We try to be helpful to the families because we know how stressful planning these events can be.
