Alps Logistics

Alps Logistics operates out of the Ittina Apartment complex in Electronic City. Our specific spot is D-1/G-59. It is a bit different running a logistics business from an apartment building, but it works for us. Electronic City is a huge hub, so we are right in the middle of all the action. We handle a lot of moving and transport details from our desks here. It is mostly us on the phone coordinating with drivers or checking on where the trucks are. Being in an apartment means it stays a bit more relaxed than a big warehouse office. We have our computers set up and we keep track of everything from here. The Ittina Apartment area is quite large, so sometimes people take a minute to find the right block and door. We chose this location because it is convenient for getting onto the main roads that lead out of the city. Most of our day is spent making sure the schedules are being followed and solving problems when something gets delayed. It’s not a glamorous job, but it is necessary. We don't have a big front desk or a waiting room. If you come by, you’re basically walking into our workspace. We like the quiet of the residential complex while we deal with the loud business of moving freight across the country. It is a good balance for us.
