Alpha Steel Industries

Our place is over on Narasimharaja road, right on the High Street. It is pretty easy to miss if you are driving too fast, so most people just look for the Amanak Corporative Bank Ltd and then they see us right behind it. We are at 19/b. It gets a bit noisy during the day with all the traffic coming through this part of town. Alpha Steel Industries has been sitting here for quite a while now. The workshop floor is usually covered in metal shavings and the air smells like cut iron and machine oil. It is not the cleanest work in the world, but it is what we do every day from early morning until the sun starts going down. My hands are almost always stained with something that won't come off easily. We have a small desk for the paperwork, but most of the time is spent out back with the inventory. The trucks come and go, trying to navigate the narrow turn behind the bank. Sometimes we have to move our own vehicles just so a delivery can get through. We don't have a fancy waiting room or anything like that. People just walk in, find someone who isn't too busy, and talk about what they need. It is a practical kind of life here. Some days are slow and we just sit and drink tea, and other days we are running around until our backs ache. Anyway, that is just how it goes here.
