Alpha Fabs

Down here at Kudle Gate, near Garvebhavi Palya, you’ll find us at N R Layout, number 40. It’s a bit of a maze getting back here if you don’t know the turns, but we’ve been here long enough that most of the neighbors know where Alpha Fabs is located. The shop floor is usually pretty loud with the sound of grinding and metal being moved around. There’s always a faint smell of burnt metal and oil in the air, which I guess is just part of the job when you’re doing fabrication work every day. We aren't a big operation, just a handful of us who know how to handle the machines. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, which gives us a chance to sit outside for a minute. The walls are covered in old calendars and some safety posters that have seen better days. We do a lot of custom bits and pieces for people, so no two days are really the same. One day it’s a gate for someone’s house, the next it’s a bunch of brackets for a local builder. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that, so if the phone rings, whoever is closest to the office door usually just wipes their hands on a rag and goes to answer it. It's honest work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. We don't mind the noise or the hard work because it's what we do.
