We are based out of Bangalore, like so many other companies these days. We don't have a big fancy office in one of those tech parks on the outskirts. Instead, we’ve always preferred being in the heart of the city where things are actually happening. Allied Solutions Group India started as a small group of us sitting around a table trying to figure things out. We still operate with that same kind of feel. Our workspace is a bit cluttered with papers, old monitors, and half-empty water bottles. We don't really bother with interior designers or corporate branding on the walls. It’s just a place where we come to work every morning. The traffic in Bangalore is a nightmare, so we often start a bit later or stay until it clears up. We spend a lot of time on the phone or on emails. There’s no big hierarchy here. If something needs doing, whoever is free just grabs it and gets it done. We’ve seen the city change so much over the years, with new flyovers and malls popping up everywhere. Through all that, we’ve just kept our heads down. We don't have a lot of meetings about meetings. We just talk across the room to each other. It’s a simple, straightforward way to run a business. We like the noise of the city outside our windows. It makes us feel like we’re part of everything. That is our way of doing things.
