All Metal Services Ltd is based in the Peenya Industrial Area, right on the 7th Cross in Ramakrishna Layout 35. Peenya is a massive place and it can be quite easy to get lost if you don't know the crosses well. Our building is a typical industrial setup with high ceilings and plenty of heavy machinery. It gets very loud when all the machines are running at once, so we usually wear ear protection. We deal with all sorts of metal services, mostly for other businesses in the area. The floor is usually oily and there are crates of parts stacked up near the entrance waiting to be moved. We have a small team of workers who have been with us for years. They know the machines inside out and don't need much instruction. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but it requires a good eye for detail. The dust in Peenya is something you just have to live with every day. We usually have the big shutter open to let some breeze in, but it also lets in the noise from the street. Lunch is usually a quick affair so we can get back to the machines and finish the day's quota. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there; we just want to do the jobs we have and go home to our families. It’s a tough environment but we are used to the rhythm of it by now.
