Alberts Furn Mart

Alberts Furn Mart is located at 33 Shivaji Nagar, right in the Chintamani Nagar section. If you are looking for us, we are directly opposite the Bharat Petrol Pump. It is a pretty good landmark because the traffic on this road can be quite heavy and it is easy to miss the smaller shops if you aren't looking. We have been selling furniture here for a good number of years. The shop floor is packed with all sorts of things—sofas, dining tables, and wooden cupboards. It is a bit of a squeeze to walk around sometimes because we like to keep a lot of stock on hand for people to see. We don't have a big fancy showroom with bright lights and mirrors. It is just a plain shop where the furniture is the main thing you see when you walk in. Me and a couple of the boys do all the heavy lifting ourselves. When a truck comes in with new stock, we have to move fast to get it inside before it blocks the road too much. Dust is a constant battle because of the main road right outside, so we are always wiping things down with a cloth. People come in to test out the beds or see if a chair feels solid enough for their home. We don't do any high-pressure sales stuff. We just let people look around and answer their questions if they have any. It is a local business and we like being part of this Shivaji Nagar community.
