Al Noor

Al Noor is located in the Shivaji Nagar area at No.8-C on the 1st street of HKP road. We are right across from the Golden Chicken shop. If you know Shivaji Nagar, you know it is a place that is always full of people and noise. Our shop is right in the heart of that chaos. I have been working here for a long time. It is a small place with just enough room for a few chairs and some people waiting. We stick to the basics like hair cuts and shaves. The whole area is packed with different stalls and the smell of food is everywhere. I like the energy of HKP road even if it gets a bit much sometimes. It keeps me on my toes. During the festival seasons, the shop gets incredibly busy and I end up working from early morning until very late at night. My hands get quite tired by the end of it, but I’m glad for the business. I don't use anything fancy, just my old-fashioned scissors and razors. I have known many of my customers for a long time. Some of them used to come here with their fathers when they were little. Now they are grown up and bring their own kids. I keep the shop open late because this part of town doesn't really sleep until midnight. It’s a humble shop but it’s mine and I take pride in what I do. Living in Bangalore means dealing with the traffic and crowd, but I wouldn't want to be anywhere else.
