We are based out at 7-86 on the Jigani Main Road. This part of the village in Mantappa, near Bannerghatta, has really grown over the last few years. It used to be a lot quieter, but now the road is full of trucks and vans going back and forth all day. Our place is not hard to find if you know the main road well. We deal with import and export stuff, which means a lot of our time is spent on the phone or checking through piles of paperwork on the desk. There is always a stack of shipping documents that needs looking at. The office gets a bit dusty because of all the construction and traffic outside, so we are always wiping down the tables. We have a small crew here. Most of us have been working together for a while now. We know the rhythm of the place, when the shipments are likely to arrive and when things will be slow. It is not exactly exciting work, but it keeps us busy. We have some storage space in the back where we keep the crates and boxes before they go out. It can get pretty cramped when a big delivery comes in all at once. We just move things around until they fit. During lunch, we usually step out or eat at our desks while watching the traffic move outside. It is just regular work in a busy part of town for us.
