Akcent Modular Furniture

Akcent Modular Furniture is our workshop and showroom over at No. 102 on the 1st Main Road in Avalahalli BDA Layout. We spend our days surrounded by the smell of sawdust and wood glue. We make cabinets, wardrobes, and all the stuff that goes into a modern home to keep things organized. It is a noisy place when the saws are running, and we usually have to shout to be heard over the machinery. We started this because we liked working with our hands and seeing a flat piece of board turn into a kitchen cabinet. Our space in Avalahalli is where all the planning and cutting happens. We have samples of finishes and handles all over the place, and sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when we have a big project going on. We don't have a glossy catalog with professional photos. Instead, we show people what we are currently building on the floor. Most of our customers come from the nearby layouts after seeing a neighbor's new wardrobe. We talk about measurements and what kind of hinges will last the longest. It is practical work. We worry about things like level floors and square corners. We are just a bunch of guys who know how to use a drill and a tape measure. It is hard on the back sometimes, but it is good to see the final result standing in a room.
