Akar Infomedia Pvt Ltd is tucked away over in Mahanagar Extension. If you know the Mandir Park area in Lucknow, you know it’s mostly houses and quiet spots, so we’re right in the middle of that at C 9. It’s not a big glass building or anything like that. We started out small and stayed pretty grounded. Most days it’s just us sitting around the desks, trying to keep up with the work coming in. Lucknow gets really hot in the summer, so the AC is always running and there’s usually some tea being passed around. We’ve been here for a while now. The neighborhood knows us. Sometimes the power goes out and we just have to wait it out or use the backup. It’s just how things go here. We handle a lot of info and media projects, mostly stuff that keeps us busy from morning until late evening. There’s no fancy lobby or a receptionist in a suit. You just walk in and someone will probably be on the phone or typing away at a computer. It’s a bit cramped with all the papers and files, but we know where everything is. We don’t really do much advertising for ourselves because the work usually just finds its way to our door at Mandir Park. It’s a decent place to spend the day, honestly. Anyway, that is pretty much what we are about here.
