Ajaz Steel Centre

Ajaz Steel Centre is over at 370/2 Shivaji Nagar. If you come by, you will hear the sound of metal hitting metal before you even see the shop. We deal with all kinds of steel stuff here. It is a noisy, dusty business, and our hands are usually covered in grease or iron filings by the end of the day. We have been in Shivaji Nagar for quite a while now. The shop is filled with rods, sheets, and scraps of steel everywhere you look. It is not a place for fancy clothes or clean shoes. People come to us when they are building something or if they need a specific piece of metal cut to size. We spend a lot of time measuring things and using the heavy cutters. Sometimes the machines act up and we have to spend an hour fixing them instead of working on an order. That is just how a machine shop goes. We aren't a massive corporation with a board of directors. It is just us working on the floor, getting things ready for customers who need them. The neighborhood is busy and there is always something going on outside our doors. We just keep our heads down and get the work done. It’s hard work, but there is something good about seeing a pile of raw steel turned into something useful for a customer who really needs it. We have been doing this a long time and we know our metal.
